Use your personal touch to drive business referrals
At Ganaraska Chiropractic & Healing Arts, Kim takes pride in taking the time to develop a personal relationship with each patient to help them achieve their health goals.
Born and raised in Northumberland County, Kim left for university and returned home a Doctor of Chiropractic. Following the advice of an older chiropractor to “start out where you want to end up,” she opened her practice in a leased space in downtown Port Hope.
Kim soon purchased an abandoned building at 73 Ontario Street and set about the restoration process with a quiet determination and commitment to quality that defines her life.
When Kim commits, it’s not simply a project, it’s her mission. Her strong vision for healthy spines has led her more than once to Haiti where she volunteers her chiropractic expertise at an orphanage. When her downtown business neighbours learned of her visits, many contributed cash and supplies to support her efforts.
“In the morning I adjusted 36 of the 55 kids living at Toddler House and in the afternoon I adjusted an endless line of Haitian staff. I recognized several of the children from my trip 2 years ago. It was gratifying to see they had “held” their adjustments and have healthier spines.”
Back home, Kim’s been a Chamber of Commerce member since the beginning, winning a Customer First Achievement Award and hosting the Chamber’s ‘Business after 5pm’ networking event.
“It’s a great way to get to know other local businesses, especially in my practice where word of mouth referrals and personal relationships are vital to business success.”
